Things To Do During Quarantine

I know many of us are going crazy during this quarantine. But it doesn't have to be so bad. These past few weeks I've really had to change my thinking and shift perspective about this whole situation. Turning away from fear and staying positive. So I thought I would share with you guys some things I'm doing during this whole quarantine thing. I hope it will give you some inspiration and ideas.

Meditation - This has been something that I already do. But it's really has helped me lately through all of this. I've also been trying different types of meditations. One way that I meditate is by spending time in gratitude and saying thank you. If you find it hard to meditate. There are different apps and tons of guided meditations on Youtube for so many different things.

Journaling - I love to journal in my gratitude, and self-love journal, and I also do art journaling

which is so relaxing.

Move Your Body - There are tons of ways to move your body without leaving your home. Free workouts on Youtube or different apps and walking if you have the yard or space to do it. I am a beach body member and I love it!

Tidy Up/Declutter - With a lot of time on our hands what best time than now to tidy up and declutter. Clean out the closet, clear out drawers, and get organized. I know it can seem overwhelming. But it feels so good to get rid of unwanted junk! The energy in your home will feel so much better!

Learn - This can be reading a book, listening to an audiobook, or watching an educational video.

I love listening to books on audible. There are also great classes and videos over on Udemy and Skillshare.

Work On Your Craft - If you are an artist, blogger, or creative of any kind. Now is the time to work on your craft without any rush. Even if you aren't creative I highly recommend you find something creative to do. Art can heal and help us all through hard times. It's helped me tremendously.

Step Out Of Your Comfort Zone - I know this one may sound crazy since we are in quarantine. But hear me out. If there's something you've been wanting to work on or start such as a Blog, Youtube Channel, or posting a picture you've been afraid to post on social media. It can be anything. For me, it's talking on my Instagram stories and posting a time-lapse workout video of myself. But I did both and it felt really good and liberating to do it. So go for it and live your truth!

Sending you lots of love and positive energy,

Sierra Barnes
